Teliacom partner through
its subsidiary DIALOGOS S.A. -established in 1998- develops
automated speech recognition systems that provide information
and services over the telephone and the Internet.
Using speech recognition
technology, Dialogos develops systems for companies
that wish to offer their clients the possibility of
obtaining information and conducting voice transactions
automatically through the telephone. Depending on the
field each company is active in, the information that
can be acquired includes stock quotes, bank account
balances, timetables of various means of transport,
announcements, general and specific information, etc.,
while automated transactions include a wide range of
services, spanning from bank or stock market transactions
to the ordering of tickets for a particular theatre
performance or trip.
Furthermore, Dialogos
focuses on the development of Voice Portals, which allow
the user to retrieve information from voice-enabled
Web sites with the use of a telephone. Through this

Voice Portals: This system combines
the telephone (the means that radically changed human's
communication mode) with the Internet (the means that
radically changed the way humans distribute information
and handle their business transactions).

that totally enhances and enriches telephone features.
Voyager's possibilities are similar to the ones of a
computer. With Voyager, a telephone device is sufficient
for a user to call someone, by simply using their voice,
to retrieve a required telephone number from a directory
or any personal agenda and trace information in voice-enabled
websites with the use of spoken hyperlinks or "Voice
links".
